Hey! I’m Barron, your dedicated and enthusiastic mortgage broker at Loan + Finance Brokers. While I may be younger than the average broker, my journey has been anything but conventional. A diverse background across multiple industries has shaped my ability to provide tailored financial solutions with a fresh and dynamic approach.
From an early age, I was immersed in business – helping at my parents’ after-school tutoring centre and sheepskin trade business with China. This entrepreneurial exposure fuelled my drive to explore opportunities across more than a dozen different companies in customer-centred industries such as Fitness, Hospitality, Financial Services, Education, Sales & Marketing, and Retail. Career highlights include three years at Crown Perth and prestigious internships at KPMG (Tax & Audit) and ANZ (Commercial Banking).
Academically, I built a strong foundation at Aquinas College before earning a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance & Economics from The University of Western Australia. A transformative exchange semester at Queen’s Smith School of Business in Canada expanded my global perspective.
After graduation, I ventured to Sydney through a role at Westpac’s BT Financial Group where another COVID lockdown reshaped my plans. I returned to Perth before completing a two-year Commercial graduate program with Schneider Electric. Ultimately, I found my true vocation—combining my passion for real estate, finance, and helping others through mortgage broking.
Outside the office, I’m an avid competitor in middle to long-distance running events around Perth. Since reigniting this passion in 2022, I’ve achieved eleven podium finishes, volunteered as a pacer for multiple half-marathons and won the WA Marathon Club’s age group male Club Championship in 2023. Moreover, I co-founded LCRT, an elite running squad which features some of Perth’s top runners and holds collaborations with other run clubs and groups.
Beyond running, I embrace an array of sports and hobbies from hiking, basketball, golf to Muay Thai, ice skating and mountain biking. Traveling is another passion—I’ve explored 15 countries and can’t wait to add more to this list.
