Hey! I’m Barron, your friendly and enthusiastic Loan + Finance Broker. While I may be younger than the average mortgage broker, my journey has been somewhat atypical – it’s been a tapestry of diverse experiences that has shaped who I am today.
From an early age, I was compelled into working at my parents’ businesses in after-school tutoring at Kumon and a laborious sheepskin trade business with China, which motivated me to find other opportunities. Since then, my professional network spans across 13 different companies in Fitness, Hospitality, Financial Services, Education, Sales & Marketing, and Retail, with highlights including three years at Crown Perth and two summer internships at KPMG in Tax & Audit and at ANZ in Commercial Banking divisions.
Following a strong academic foundation through the ATAR pathway at Aquinas College, I culminated a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance & Economics from The University of Western Australia which included a transformative exchange semester at the Queen’s Smith School of Business in Ontario, Canada.
Post-graduation, I ventured to Sydney for a role at BT Financial Group as a Westpac graduate in 2021. However, after another COVID lockdown reshaped my plans, I returned to Perth before completing a two-year Commercial graduate program with Schneider Electric and realising my vocation lay in merging my passion of real estate, financial knowledge and experience in helping others through broking.
Outside the office, I’m deeply involved in the competitive middle to long-distance running atmosphere around Perth. Since reigniting this passion in 2022, I’ve actively competed & volunteered at WA Marathon Club events; achieving eleven top three finishes which led to an age group male Club Championship in 2023. Beyond personal milestones, running has enriched my life through meaningful friendships as alongside my friend Karlos Aquino, we co-founded LCRT, an elite running squad in Perth.
Whilst running is a huge interest of mine, I embrace the versatility in an array of sports from basketball, golf and Muay Thai to ice skating, table tennis, billiards and mountain biking. I love exploring different cultures whilst traveling having been to 15 countries (yet to visit Europe).
